What will happen to the Olympic sites/venues?

Now the Olympics and Paralympics games are complete the £300 million construction to remove temporary venues and transform the Olympic site into the ‘Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park’.

The Olympic stadium, Aquatics centre, Velodrome and Copper Box will be developed into their final legacy configurations and the Hockey Arena will be moved to Eton Manor. In return for all the funding they have received, all UK Athletes will be asked to offer up to five days a year of their own time to inspire the next generation through school and community sport.

Some of the Olympic venues will also be used to help with the staging of other sporting events that Britain will be hosting, including; World Triathlon championship series final, Rowing world cup series, Commonwealth Games, Rugby football World Cup, European Hockey championships and the World Athletics championships.
